Bridgewood: A body of Christians
The Bridgewood church of Christ is a body of Christians who are striving to live for God. We believe that the Bible is God’s word and there is no higher authority on earth. Through various mission fields, outreach programs, and community activities we try to show the community the love of God. The people of Bridgewood share a common goal, to one day be together in Heaven with God for eternity. As Christians we work to help each other and our neighbors to obtain that goal by sharing the message of the good news that is found in the New Testament.
The Bridgewood church of Christ is striving to worship and serve God as defined in the New Testament. The church of Christ is the one body of Christ (Ephesians 4:4) composed of those who call themselves Christians (Acts 11:26). We work and worship in Fort Worth, Texas as a body of Christians, the church that Jesus referred to in Matthew 16:18.

The Bridgewood Church of Christ
Bridgewood church of Christ is located in Fort Worth, TX. Bridgewood is the result of a merger between two older congregations, the Meadowbrook church of Christ, and the Brentwood church of Christ. The merger took place in 1994, for the purpose of allowing the combined membership of the two congregations to serve both God and community more effectively. We invite you to be our guest at any of our worship assemblies. We strive to follow the New Testament pattern of worship.

Local Outreach

As a church we are active every week in local outreach efforts.  We believe it is important for the church to be active in the community:

  • Bread and Bibles pop-up – almost every Wednesday and Saturday we are out on the parking lot giving away bread, Bibles, and meeting our neighbors.
  • Academy 4 – A school outreach program with a local elementary where our members are mentors to every 4th grader on campus teaching leadership skills.
  • Together We Grow Garden – a community garden on the church property.  We give away everything we grow and use the garden as an opportunity to teach and connect.
