IMAG3897Bridgewood Youth Group
The Bridgewood youth group is a place where families can grow.  Our main focus is to help young people grow by helping families to fulfill their God given task.  As a group we are not here to be entertained or to ‘kill time’, we are here to learn about God and His amazing purpose for our lives.  We participate in a number of activities throughout the year that have this goal in mind.  Like most youth groups our busiest time is during the summer.  Below you can find links to two of our big summer activities.

Tuesday Night DFW Summer Youth Series
Every Tuesday night at 7pm young people from across the DFW area meet together to sing praises to God, enjoy a lesson from the Bible and share in fellowship.  You can check out the Summer Youth Series website by clicking here.

Inner Circle Youth Camp
In 2008 we helped to establish a new Christian youth camp, Inner Circle Youth Camp.  Our camp meets at the Quartz Mountain Christian Camp facility near Altus, Oklahoma.  The camp has been growing every year and we are excited to see what the coming years bring.  The Inner Circle website can be found here.

IMAG3892Other Activities
The youth and families from our congregation are busy with a number of activities.  We have a monthly family devo where families with kids of any age join together for a time of study and prayer.  We are focused on encouraging and equipping families to minister to their children.  We also have a Sunday Afternoon Out every month which gives our teens an opportunity to eat lunch together after worship and then engage in an act of service.

Bridgewood is pleased to host the DFW Bible Quiz event during the school year.  Elementary students through adults study God’s Word and then have an opportunity to show what they have learned in a friendly competition.  You can learn more about DFW Bible Quiz here.

We also participate in a large number of other activities from service projects to area-wide events with other congregations.  We strive to maintain a schedule that is active but does not become overwhelming for families that are already very busy.
